Week 1 you will learn to construct, analyze, and decode a CAN Message
Week 2 you will learn to build a MotoHawk model project, produce a PI controller, characterize a sensor, set up an encoder in MotoHawk and Simulink, run a fuel injector, and define a CAN message and implement it in MotoHawk and Simulink.
Week 3 you will learn to build and simulate a system of 2 PI controllers, each with target management. You will also learn to calibrate such that the simulated system is within set performance limits.
Week 4 you will learn to combine information from multiple documents to generate application specific code features (including CAN messages). You will also learn to combine technology from the previous 2 weeks to build an engine control model from written specifications.
Week 5 you will learn to test and debug a Simulink/MotoHawk engine control model on an HiL simulator.
Week 6 you will run an engine under your own code, prepare and give a presentation and demonstration, and interview with confidence.
